FREEDOM DREAMING

I dream of a world
a world I see from the lens of my third eye
one where there is no hate,
no discrimination,
no worries,
but in reality that world is only a dream
my dream is that people like me won’t live in fear
that we get equal opportunities
that we get help.
I live everyday with anxiety, anger, and confusion
as to how our world got to this point
I dream of a world
and i will continue dreaming but also working,
working to build this world that I dream so
that one day
people won’t have to dream
but instead live their reality
