HEARTBREAK BETWEEN US

I wish we were taught as children 

Life comes with heartbreak. 

Our hearts ultimately will be shattered. Of

course, there is an opportunity it gets repaired,

But humorous enough, sometimes it doesn't.

And you're left with unavoidable change. Life &

Time will compensate you for your pain, Things will

change.

It is known the heart has its own memory.

All the things we did, All the love we had.

Gets sent back to the universe. 

If I knew this was the price I had to pay

To meet you, Was to lose you 

I would have agreed to pay it over again

You were worth it. 

Love was worth it.

I always thought I would return back to

you. To something I loved. 

Realization seeps in. 

What we were is already beyond repair.

Broken Love is not something you hold on

to; it’s something you set free.

So, I let go of the memory of us 

And embrace the fact things will change.
