As 2022 came to a close and we prepared to welcome 2023, many of us found ourselves sharing meals, honoring and commemorating loved ones, and perhaps celebrating in gratitude while mindfully reflecting on what we’ve created out of our collective harvest. Toward that end, the theme for this issue is recetas/recipes.
The stories reflected here give us a glimpse into the recipes that shape us within, throughout, and beyond the Eastside.
