Marketing & Communications Specialist

Job Brief:

We are currently seeking a passionate full-time Marketing & Communications Specialist who is open to supporting and growing our company. Candidates must be fluent (oral/written) in Spanish. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, and organization, and has an ability to work independently in a multitasking environment and in a team structure. Seeking a talented individual who is well-versed in technical writing, marketing, and outreach. Individuals will assist with identifying and implementing ways to build our brand and promote brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Management of concurrent projects for various clients. Candidates must demonstrate experience in making projects run smoothly, on-schedule, and within scope, while maintaining strong communication with clients.

• Manage client expectations and accounts

• Plan and execute all social media content on all active channels; create and manage the social media calendar

• Assist in designing marketing material including print and digital for internal and external communication collateral.

• Provide marketing support/maintenance for this company as well as client projects.

• Work closely with designers to produce client projects from start to finish.

• Create, develop, plan, research, write and edit content for company and client projects. Includes: website, social media, marketing collateral, press releases and other related channels.

• Assist in building the communication of Kooltura’s story through content creation.

Experience and Skills:

Ability to demonstrate and articulate a strong sense of writing, design, and brand awareness. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and marketing experience, with a deep understanding of East San Jose as a community, and grassroots marketing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Advertising/Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related degrees.

• Working knowledge of CANVA

• Adobe Creative Suite products, especially InDesign, and Illustrator a plus

• Requiring fluency in Spanish (written and oral)

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $24.00 to $26.00 /hour
